History

Atlyss is a culmination of over thirty years of intensive study of relationships. The Atlyss assessment was created by career educators, including Kentucky's only National Teacher of the Year, whose primary purpose was to generate a tool that could assist people in strengthening and deepening relationships. The goal was to create a tool that could provide positive and tangible results for personal and group success. Through their work, this team found that most disputes occurred because of miscommunication and misunderstanding, that individuals could in fact, be speaking to the same point without realizing it. Only after many years of working with other market products did a real and simple solution for building successful relationships begin to take shape in the form of Atlyss.

The Atlyss team, in partnership with a credentialed psychometrist, put the tool through rigorous development and revisions (The Atlyss assessment is scientifically validated and has a patent pending.) They began to use the Atlyss assessment with businesses and determined that not only had they created something with educational applications, they were presenting the workforce with a solution to the problems of hiring the right people, placing individuals in the right spots, and building successful, effective and efficient teams.

Atlyss in the Workplace

Atlyss LLC continues to apply the assessment to a wider cross-section of industries, increasing the record of success in working with a broad spectrum of individuals and teams. There are two primary categories for Atlyss applications:

1. Describing and Developing Individuals: Atlyss provides an employer with a clear look at the operating style of the prospective employee or new hire before the investment of time and money.
2. Describing and Developing Teams: Atlyss enhances communication by revealing the priorities and motivations of each individual, providing the opportunity for understanding and progress, vital to developing effective teams, retaining valued employees, and increasing productivity, thus affecting businesses' bottom line.
